Scenic documentary film, in which the authors present a sweeping panorama of nature while also describing the historical and cultural landmarks of the Dnipro riverside cities and the river’s importance to the Dnipro Hydroelectric Station and the broader industry of the Ukrainian SSR. Behind the dense propagandistic narrative, the viewer can glimpse the life of pre-war Ukraine: Kyiv’s Khreshchatyk, Kaniv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and other cities.

A film copy was preserved in the collection of the Bundesarchiv and was digitized and transferred in 2024 with the support of Adelheid Heftberger and the Bundesarchiv team, as well as Ivan Kozlenko.
